The good thing about this steering wheel lock is if your car is parked next to your motion detector at your house, it gives you about one minute to get your gun before the robber can saw through the thing.

I was searching Amazon for a steering wheel lock for a newly purchased car. I found the NiwNiw Vehicle Steering Wheel Lock, it appeared to have the required features, so I ordered it.The item arrived in a few days. It was securely packed in several substantial cardboard boxes. After removing the lock from the packaging, I visually inspected it and found no damage from the shipping process.The steering wheel lock appears to be well-constructed. It has a nice rubber coating on all contact points, so there will be no damage to the vehicle. It is easy to install, remove, and adjust, which can be done in less than 30 seconds. The lock has a good adjustment range, which should allow it to fit the steering wheel of most vehicles. The lock design is also interesting, using a 4-sided key, which should make picking much more difficult.That said, a determined thief may find a way to penetrate this device. However, every anti-theft item you add to your car provides one more hurdle and layer of protection that a thief has to overcome to steal it. The goal is to make your car look less inviting and not worth the trouble, so the thief will decide to move along to a less-protected car.My one complaint is that the device did not include any instructions. However, it is a simple device and most folks will intuitively figure it out. I just like to see an instruction sheet from the manufacturer, so I’m sure I’ve installed/used it as intended. So I took one star off for that.Otherwise, this appears to be a quality product, and I recommend it.

This review is for the steering wheel lock.PROS- Adjustable; can fit almost all steering wheel sizes- Heavy and strong; not easy to cut or break or remove- Protects your car from easy theft- Yellow colour which makes this stand out and look very obvious from outside your window- Three keys in case you lose oneCONS- Hefty and bulky so it’s a pain to put on and take off. But the added extra protection really offsets this disadvantageOverall, this is a great steering wheel lock. Adjustable and sturdy. Will potentially deter theft.

The Vehicle Steering Wheel Lock is incredibly easy to use, both for locking and unlocking. Yet, it effectively deters thieves from stealing your car. Even though I live in a relatively low-crime area and have an older car with a basic alarm system, my insurance company still recommended using at least this type of protection. I agree with their recommendation; it’s certainly better to be safe than sorry. This steering wheel lock feels very sturdy and seems highly resistant to breaking. The package arrived very quickly (thanks to Prime) and I put it to use right away. It’s been about two weeks now, and I’m still very happy with this purchase.

We wanted to replace a real club since we got a new truck, but the quality doesn’t seem. Keys were a difficult for until you got the hang of it. It’s too lightweight for my liking.

My daughter has a Kia, and they are known to be easily stolen. She was very worried that would happen, but told me “there’s nothing I can do about it”. Well, not true. I told her that, back in the 80s, we had steering wheel locks that would lock into place and prevent someone from being able to steal a car. They could not turn the wheel, as it would hit the windshield.I didn’t realize they were still being sold! So I got this one, and I have to say it works very well. To be honest, no one has tried to steal the Kia since she started using it, but is that because no one made and attempt or because they looked in the window and saw this there? I dunno, but it’s working!

Als das Paket kam, war ich erstaunt wie klein und leicht es war. Als ich es dann ausgepackt habe, wurde es nur noch leichter, da der Artikel nochmals in einem Karton lag.Tatsächlich wiegt die Lenkradkralle nicht einmal 1 kg. Das finde ich recht wenig und vergleichen mit dem Produkt, welches ich als Ersatz für die NiwNiw geholt habe, wirkt das Lenkradschloss nicht sehr wertig. Ich glaube nicht, dass es einem kriminellen Öffnungsversuch lange standhält.Positiv erwähnen kann ich die griffige und auffällige Gummierung und den Schlüssel, der kreuzförmig 4 Bärte hat. Ob dadurch das Schloss schwerer zu picken ist, kann ich nicht sagen. Falls ja scheint die NiwNiw zumindest dort der Konkurrenz einen Schritt voraus.Letztendlich musste ich das Lenkradschloss aber zurückgeben, da es zu kurz war. In unserem Transporter hätte sich das Lenkrad auch mit angelegtem Schloss komplett drehen lassen. Es stieß weder gegen die A-Säule, Rückspiegel noch den Ganghebel, lediglich an der Fahrertür hätte es geschliffen. Das war mir dann doch zu wenig Schutz.Für einen Kleinwagen mag das reichen, auch wenn der Schutz hier eher in der visuellen Abschreckung als der Standhaftigkeit des Materials liegen mag. Bei einem Bus/Transporter muss es aber doch eine längere Ausführung sein.
