Great tool, well made and very versatile. For those situations where you can’t easily access the filter from the side with a conventional oil filter wrench, this one grabs filters of most typical sizes from the bottom or top, depending on how the filter is oriented when mounted. It grips great and works well.

This oil filter wrench is easy to use. It has adapters for two sizes of ratchet and you can use an appropriately sized wrench as well.It works even on a smooth filter but obviously works better on one with ridges.It operates in either direction, although I don’t use it to tighten.Great option for getting those stubborn filters that you can’t get a good grip on. Worked perfectly on my mower which is located in a space that doesn’t give much room for my hands.
