This tool makes changing the oil on a Cummins virtually mess free as long as you make sure not to cross thread or leave it loose. Also let your oil filter settle for 10 – 15 mins before removal and don’t tilt the filter. You have to drop it down carefully so you don’t spill the oil from filter then screw this on and tilt and pull filter out. It’s a must have for any technician out there .

Makes for a mess free oil change on my 2021 2500 Cummins. I can’t fit 2 hands in the area of the filter, but this tool makes it easy to change the filter with one hand. The threads are cut perfectly, it easily spins on the old filter for removal and easily spins off the new filter for installation. Just get it snug and there’s no drips.

Love this oil filter tool! Keeps all in the oil in the filter and prevents the usual mess when changing oil. Great tool

Tight space to work in to install the tool but once it’s installed and filter is removed it’s very satisfying that there is no oil spill and the same when installing the new filter no spillage great tool

Does not take much for this item to seal. Works like a charm!!
Marc –
I honestly don’t know how you would change the oil filter on a RAM Cummins without this. It truly prevents a huge mess.
Chad –
Lower filter carefully between frame rails on my Ram Cummins and thread this on. No leaks and you can fill new filter with fresh oil and have less dry start when oil changed.
Darby –
Never knew this existed but does it ever make oil changes cleaner and nicer for newer 4th gen’s where you have to pull filter from wheel well.

Used on mainly Cummins trucks that use the Napa 7620 filter. Apparently it works on duramax & Ford filters as well.
