Easy Installation
Installing a Rear Bumper Protector to your vehicle is a breeze. Clean the surface of your bumper, peel the pre-applied 3M Tape, and stick the RBP on. Every vehicle is different, and some applications may require the RBP to be bent to match the exact curvature of your vehicle. A set of easy-to-follow installation instructions are included with your order.

Generic Installation Instructions
STEP 1: Clean Bumper
Clean the surface of your bumper with a clean cloth. Then, using the alcohol wipe provided, wipe down the bumper until clean. Let any excess residue dry prior to installation.
PLEASE NOTE: Your vehicle should be at least 75°F for proper installation.
STEP 2: Line Up Arrow With Trunk Latch
To place your bumper protector properly, start by lining up the arrow on the bumper cover with the trunk latch located within the trunk of your vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not remove tape yet.
STEP 3: Dry Fit
After centering the bumper protector, carefully bend the sides along the curvature of your vehicle’s bumper. This step is to ensure that you are happy with the placement before fully installing the bumper protector.
STEP 4: Remove 3M Tape
Remove all tape lining from the underside of the bumper protector. Do not touch tape or place onto a surface other than your bumper.
STEP 5: Place Center Down
Carefully place the center of your bumper protector down. Once again, you will line up the arrow on the bumper protector with the trunk latch. You will want to keep the bumper protector as close to the edge of your bumper as possible.
STEP 6: Bend To Match Bumper Curvature
Placing one side at a time, carefully guide the bumper protector along the curvature of your bumper.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not press down until you are completely happy with fitment. This allows you to pull bumper cover back up if a mistake has been made.
STEP 7: Press Down Firmly
Using a clean cloth, firmly press down on bumper protector.
STEP 8: Finished
You’re done! Please allow up to 24 hours before washing your vehicle or traveling through inclement weather.

Perfect fit. I have a 2020 Honda CR-V and did not want any unsightly scuff marks but I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for the rear bumper protector from the dealer that doesn’t have as much coverage as this one. The item is as described. I followed the included instructions and had no problem. It took me 10 minutes max to install. I am very happy with this product. Give it a try and make sure you are precise with bending the protector with the curve of your bumper. I seen reviews on here that made me question as to whether I should buy it because the fitment in some pictures looked awful. I’m glad I made the purchase because it came out exactly how I wanted. If you have a 2020 Honda CR-V, no issues with the product itself, and you install it correctly then this is the protector to buy. It looks great thus far, now I will see how it holds up over time.

I had read the reviews on this bumper guard and thought it might be a problem to attach but it went on very smoothly. The trick I used was to set the piece in front of my fireplace where the tiles get warm (tape side UP). This made the material soft and easily pliable so shaping it to my bumper was a breeze. If you don’t have a fireplace, the sun will do or maybe even a hairdryer.I do a lot of hiking and snowshoeing here in the Pacific NW so I’m putting things in my cargo area that can easily scratch that surface. This is just what I was looking for and it’s not the usual thin material that resembles a “sticker” a lot of companies offer.

I bought a rear bumper protector from Honda OEM, it was terrible I ended up throwing it out even though it was over $100. This one is made very well and fits great, it dress up the car just enough with out a bunch of flash. Install it in 10 min. I am extremely happy with it.

After reading all the reviews, I went ahead and purchased this for our 2018 CR-V. There were no instructions included in the box, so we had to really guess about the proper placement on the bumper. Turns out, we put it on too far up, so now we have to remove it (hoping a hair dryer will help to soften the double-sided tape to make removal easier), apply new tape, and then place it closer to the curve in the bumper. While we’re glade it will give added protection to the bumper, we’re not happy that as Canadians, we had to pay a significantly higher price than we would have, had we purchased it on Amazon.com.Pros: it will hopefully protect the bumper and last for a decent amount of timeCons: overpriced and no directions included for correct installation

The fit is great, the design but after a few days, I check on the adhesions, specially at the corners, its not sticking well. Have to buy a 3M VHB wider tape and replace the end part. It should have at least a wider tape…

The fitment is “ok” it doesn’t fit the curvature of the bumper as good and makes its hard to get the edges to be go down level with the surface. I didn’t have much luck with one of the 3m sticky tape. I contacted the manufacturer for help but didn’t get a response
