Used this on a Graco Sprayer so that I can read the pressure and be able to see that psi I’m spraying at. I like to use low pressure tips on my spray machine and gun this helps me know where I need to be at.

Gauge seems accurate and to function as expected. Only negative which probably exists for all of these gauges is it could be more filled with oil. If the gauge is anything other than perfectly strait up and down the air bubble becomes fairly large as it spreads out against the glass making the needle a little harder to see at a glance. Not really a big issue as usually you adjust once to get set and then are off spraying, but worth mentioning.

I am using the gauge to keep track and measure line pressure and not necessarily for air spraying. The gauge is excellent. I like the “sweet spot” markings on the gauge – the “ideal” green area. It’s just a nice visual regardless of where you need your pressure to be.There was one comment about the glycerin level being low in the gauge compartment. This is a simple fix. There is a small rubber dimple at the top to the gauge. You just need to carefully open that dimple and add a little more of the fluid that is already in the gauge. It is stated as “glycerin” so that’s what I would add. Sometimes it’s mineral oil and I have done this kind of “topping up” several times over the years. Easy to do.Quality brass 1/4″NPT fitting, stainless steel case, it’s a very well made, professional pressure gauge.Bottom Line – If you need a quality pressure gauge, capable of measuring up to 4000psi, you can’t go wrong with this one.

Very happy with this gauge.I paired this with a brand new Graco X7 airless sprayer. I needed to do quite a bit of painting at my house because we recently had a house fire. I wanted to get an idea of about where my pressure was at with my primer, my urethane and my latex paints. Especially since I won’t have the ability to do all of it in a day and I’ll have to set up a few times on different days.I went with an LP 517 Graco Tip and adjusted my pressure in the green on this gauge. Did a test spray on some cardboard and the pressure was perfect with no other adjustments needed. A real nice clean feathered finish.I used a good quality thread tape and tightened snugly. Didn’t have any leaks. I cannot attest to the gauges accuracy because I have nothing to compare it to. It does give me a good baseline reading though. That way I can tell about where I need to be on the gauge the next time.I’m glad I bought it.
