Very simple right out of the box. Plug it in, connect it to your car, and you’re charging. I love being able to adjust charging current or add delays on my phone or through the app. Wifi or Bluetooth are needed to connect via the app, but it can be controlled with buttons on the charger. Most importantly, it charges super fast – a the max setting of 48 amps (you’ll need at least a 60 amp breaker and a 240v connection) you get 11500 watts of charge

I like that this charger uses the “Smart Life” app. The app is easy to use, easy to navigate and gives you all the information you need in the palm of your hand. It also allows you to set up charging times and see how much power you are drawing. The cord is 25 feet long so you can reach just about anywhere in the garage that you need to. I also like that the connector docks on the charger, so it is out of the way, and keeps everything looking nice and neat. You will also want to be sure that your breaker is large enough to allow you to get the full 48 amps out of this charger. So far, I have no problems with this EV charger and think it’s a good choice for people who want the ability to set it and forget it using the app.

It’s way faster than my level one charger. I don’t know why I waited so long to switch to a charger that was faster. You are able to control the amperage, but I usually charge at the fastest speed. I had this system installed by an electrician, so I cannot speak much about that process. However, I can say that this charger is really easy to use and has been reliable. You are able to schedule charges on the app, but I just plug in as soon as I get home. The build quality is sturdy, and it has a 25-foot cord, which makes it easy to charge regardless of car angle.
