ACDelco GM Origil Equipment Remanufactured Automatic Transmission EC3 Torque Converters are GM-recommended replacements for your vehicle’s origil components. These converters allow the automatic transmission to come to a stop while still in gear, and to move forward when the brakes are released. Remanufacturing automatic transmission torque converters is an industry practice that involves disassembly of existing units, and replacing components that are most prone to wear with new components. Damaged and obsolete parts are replaced and completed units are tested to ensure they perform to ACDelco specifications. In addition, remanufacturing returns components back into service rather than processing as scrap or simply disposing of them. These automatic transmission torque converters provide the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from ACDelco.

Worked good

The torque converter itself works just fine. However, the core rebate amount was listed as $100 but ACDelco only paid $46. Amazon won’t do anything despite the amount being clearly displayed at the time of purchase. Bait and switch? Overall a very disappointing experience.
