Customer –
A necessary component for the addition of “plug and play” lights for the Tacoma truck bed. This 2021 Tacoma had the wiring harness, relay, fuse already in place. It lacked the required switch. Removing the switch panel, the factory installed hole filler/knock out was easier than I thought. Everything worked perfectly with the switch installed. The LED lights I ordered form Amazon snapped right in, plugged right in and worked exactly as expected when the switch was installed.

Removing the blank plug was a bit difficult, but the panel the plug is in snaps off easily to give you access to the wiring plug that is below on left inserted into a holder. just pull that plug out then insert into the back of this switch that you just mounted into the removable plate , then remount the plate and you are done.

As long as you have the two blue relays when you pull the panel to install the switch. It works. If you only see one blue relay. It doesn’t work until you get the second.

The bed light switch fit perfectly and worked immediately. I purchased an Amazon LED Bed Light Kit previously but was unable to get the lights to work. Went on You-Tube and saw the Amazon bed light switch and relay highlighted in the video clip. Purchased them, installed them and the bed light works perfectly.

Easy to install in my 2023 Tacoma Off-road. Bed lights were prewired and all I had to is plug in the switch!
