Bought this for my 1979/70hr/3 cylinder Mercury it didn’t come with new nuts for electric connections or rubber boots but well worth money once installed works GREAT

I got about 7 years out if my first starter. Although you nay get twice the life from a stock Mercury starter you going to pay 3 to 4 times more. Easy to replace.

This worked great as a replacement to the OEM starter on my ’99 Mercury 75 outboard motor. Fits exactly as the original one and works well.

I bought ghost starter for my 90hp mercury on June 6th of 2022 I received it a few days later. I installed it and it worked just like it should. Took my body out about 7 times and it worked fine. This summer I’ve gotten 5 boating trips with it before it locked up. This product didn’t hold up at all. 12 total trips with maybe 24-30 start ups and the started is now trash. I would recommend buying an oem replacement so you don’t get stranded like we did with a boat full of people on the lake. Bought a new oem starter and it works flawlessly. You get what you pay for
