-
Will Chuck Mates Platinum work with my inflator?
If your inflator is designed to screw onto a standard (Schrader) type valve stem, Chuck Mates Platinum works. Chuck Mates input fitting is the same size and thread pattern of your vehicle’s tire valve stem.
-
When do I use the button on top?
The top button is not needed when attaching Chuck Mate to your tire stem. To remove it after use, simply press the button, and the spring-loaded seal will quickly release the unit.
-
Will it leak?
No, Chuck Mate Platinum ratchets into place with a spring-loaded seal, ensuring a leak-free fit while inflating your tire. Press firmly onto the tire stem until you feel resistance.
-
How does the patented RatchetSeal work?
Chuck Mates Platinum contains a patented spring and pawl, forming a ratchet mechanism that gently grips your tire’s valve stem. It securely holds the stem in place against a separate spring-loaded seal.

I got this in today and immediately wanted to try it out. I really connected it to my air compressor and the part easily connected. Best part was no more fiddling with the little lever to lock it onto a valve stem or just slipped right on. The calls is solidly built and to get a lot of use it of it. 4 stars from me!

Finally a chuck that locks on and doesn’t leak. At first I was thrown off because it is able to go all the way on the valve stem unlike my cheaper chucks. It is definitely faster than the screw on kinds as well. I do wish that they had a version that connected to 1/4 NPT though. This goes on a Schrader fitting and I would love to have one attached to my nice gauged inflator handle. It is a little pricey for a single chuck but it is well made and works as advertised so I still recommend it.

Didn’t think my chuck mates could get better, but they did! This one is so well designed, smooth release for sure!Installed in minutes and looks amazing too, ratcheting clip grabs the valve easily and locks it tight, air up then one simple click. Like previous chuckmates, but this one is more refined. This one is on my personal trunk air pump, and the original chuckmate is at the shop still working hard every day
