I bought this starter to replace one where the main shaft completely failed on one that I bought just over a year ago off Amazon from another seller. Of course, installation only requires two or three bolts. It fit right into my Toro Timesaver 5500. It fired right up but now it’s getting to be winter so it’s going to be sitting more often during the winter since we here in north Florida don’t mow that often during this time. Compared to the over $200 that the local lawn mower stores expected to pay this is a great value!
