Used this for a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan. All the brake cables were completely gone. This has the first hydramatic automatic transmission, which was never equipped with parking functionality like a modern automatic, so parking brake cables are critical.Just so you know, this is a knock off of a Wilwood kit. I laughed when I saw that in the photocopied instructions. Anyway, quality of the components was good. No complaints. Love all the hardware you get, it will give you a lot of flexibility for whatever your doing (disc/drum, modern, classic, retrofit, whatever). Would buy again. Will also update if anything fails prematurely.

Very versatile in where you can mount it. I choose to run mine in the outside of the subframe, nice straight pull and no exhaust cutouts hitting like before. Way cheaper than what wildwood wants for the same thing

I haven’t been able to install the e-brake cables yet, it says it’ll work with factory brake drums, this was the reason I made this purchase, but haven’t figured out how to hook them up, but the kit is complete

aluminum end on cable stripped during install, steel cable and hardware worked good.
