I lowered my DR (I got old – 75) an this kickstand adjusted just fine. I was surprised at how heavy duty it was. I can get on the bike using the foot peg without worrying about the kick stand anymore. Also, the foot is better. Didn’t have to add any wider adapter for the dirt.

This kickstand is a good idea however it rattles and makes a lot of noise while riding. The female end is quite a bit bigger than the male end. I tried to tighten it more and the bolt snapped right off. I got a grade 8 bolt and shoved a piece of silicone hose up inside the female part before I stuck the male part in and tightened it down and now it works and is quiet.

you will need this if you lowered your DR, much easier and quicker than cutting and welding

I’ve had this kickstand on my DR for probably about a year, and it’s holding up fine. I like the range of adjustment it provides.

I lowered my DR650 and this kick stand was exactly what I needed.
