Mercedes-Benz ISM module (intelligent private server module/shift computer) installation operation sequence:
1. Check the power supply: the voltage is 13.5V and above or add a charger, and it is forbidden to pull the shift lever during the learning process!
2. Code reset: select programming code + ISM system + different parameter code reset (some computers are in the control unit adaptation)
3. Step on the brake: continue to step on the brake when performing the following steps 5 and 6 (be sure to pay attention, otherwise the detection computer may prompt that there is no communication failure)
4. Adjustment: control unit adaptation + adjustment control unit (some computers are called calibration)
5. Gear learning: Exit the ISM system, enter the gearbox computer + y3 gear learning, and operate according to the prompts (you must continue to step on the brakes)
6. Code clearing: read gearbox computer fault codes + clear codes, enter the ISM system, read ism fault codes + clear codes
Remark: IIf you encounter problems with the installation or do not communicate, unplug the module and start learning according to the instructions again.

This can repair the GL and in ML Mercedes, but it is not programmed as it states you must have a Mercedes scan tool in order to install this and program it correctly to your vehicle do not be fooled that you can put it in and it will work

Received ISM next day, same part out of the box. Installed on my GL320, But NOT Plug and Play out of the box. Lucky me I have a scanner to clear all code and perform special functions “Relearn” the module. Vehicle start and shift all gears as it should. Very happy, hopefully it last long time. Thanks.

ITS NOT PLUG AND PLAY, SO ITS NOT PROGRAMMED! YOU WILL NEED TO CLONE THE ORIGINAL ONE YOUR OLD AND PUT THE KEY INFORMATION ON THIS NEW AND IS WILL WORK PERFECTLY, DO NOT INSTALL IT BEFORE YOU PROGRAM IT (clone it) BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE IT AGAIN AND IS NOT A VERY EASY JOB, MERCEDES DEALER CAN DO THE PROGRAMMING IF YOU INSTALL IT BUT THEY WILL ONLY DO IT IF YOU BUY ORIGINAL MERCEDES PART THEY WONT PROGRAM AFTERMARKET PART. WE JUST CLONE MINE AND IS SO FAR WORKING PERFECTLY WITHOUT ANY CALIBRATION, JUST CLONE IT AND YOU WILL BE GOOD
