This Electric Solenoid (air valve) can is used with air horns that require an on-board air system for 12 volt vehicles . When the vehicle’s horn button is depressed, the Solenoid becomes electrically energized, opening its chamber and permitting air pressure to reach the horn. The solenoid remains open and engaged as long as the horn button is pressed. Max rating 225 PSI. 1/2″ pipe thread inlet and outlet ports. Made of solid brass. Ideal for train air horn and air suspension kits.

Not happy at all , the brand new valve leaks, The air compressor constantly comes on to recharge the bottle for my horn system.

Very big beefy solienoid only downside was there is no mounting tabs so you have to figure a way out to mount it

Amazing quality. Supplies a ton of air to my train horns. Make sure you close that hole off were the wires come out so water cant come in. Other than cheaping out on that id buy it again and probably will in the future.

I have hornblasters and the solenoid that came with them failed on my 2 times in 12 months. That’s why I went with this one and so far this is great. Its much crisper than the one that I got with my kit and is giving me such a better sound.
