After having spent a year building my exhaust through trial and error, this resonator is the only thing between my engine and everyone else’s eardrums. With just straight pipe my exhaust had a very metallic sound, like someone was banging on a large metal pipe, but this resonator solved that problem. I tried several other ideas and brands and everything else had weird effects, some made it sound like I had a half inch exhaust on a k20 or something. This Vibrant resonator was able to take just a bit of the higher end rasp and metallic sound out while still leaving it loud enough to bother people in another state. All in all I would highly recommend anything Vibrant sells, definitely worth their low cost. Especially if you’re going for noise, companies like magnaflow or borla, etc, all just have these weird effects that ruin it for me. Vibrant parts make it much more unique and not “Hey I hear YET ANOTHER another Mustang coming down the road.”

Absolutely amazing product!!!!!I recently put a custom exhaust on my Infiniti Q50 and as a part of that upgrade installed High Flow Catalytic converters. After the install the exhaust had a nice tone at idle and also during very little throttle but anytime you floored or even partially floored it it would rasp (sound like a tin can) like crazy. It really was embarrassing for such a high end car so I immediately started searching for solutions. I saw some of the positive reviews on these and after some measuring figured that I could put these in a unique spot in my exhaust which would still leave other areas of the exhaust open so I could change other things just in case that would be necessary to get rid of this rasp.As usual, Amazon was crazy fast on shipping (prime) and I took these up to the exhaust shop to have them installed the day after they came in. When the installer pulled them out the box and saw the design (stright through with preforations in the tube wall) and size(only 12″ long boddy) and he immediately said ” these arent going to do anything!!!” but despite his comments I went ahead and had them put them on.They lowered the car, cranked it up and we went down the road for a test. I was almost hesitant to floor it because I was positive that not much would change but to my surprise IT COMPLETELY CHANGED!!! These eliminated ALL rasp and it sounded amazing!!With the level of rasp I was having I was POSITIVE that other things would need to be done to cure it but these amazing little things were exactly what was needed!!

At first I was skeptical because I thought these wouldn’t get the job done but it quiets my straight pipe set up just enough perfect balance . Sound quality 4/5 .

These were put onto my 2011 Dodge Charger RT and are mounted in the middle, not in the rear, but have cut down on a lot of the rasp that was present when it was straight piped before, and have deepened the tone overall. It is still as loud as before, just amplifying the low tones and removing most high pitched raspy notes. The material and welds are amazing quality and I am extremely impressed for the price and quality of sound.

I did a rear resonator delete, stock mids. I liked the outside sound ( 3.6 pentastar on 2022 challenger) a little loud and raspy tho and lots of drone inside. I had these installed where the stock ones were. Success! Sounds great outside, and drone has been drasticly reduced inside. High quality! Looks great, not that many will see them tho!

I got a 2008 Mitsubishi eclipse GT V6 with the 6-speed manual. I have bought several exhaust kits I bought the $800 MagnaFlow exhaust kit which sounded like crap. I purchased another exhaust kit that was cat back straight with just an off-brand performance muffler and I wasn’t happy with that either. After doing a lot of research I found out the vibrant resonator is the route to go. So I have straight 2.25 factory size exhaust, no resonatorand the Vibrant 10 inch bottle resonator as the muffler and a 4-in burnt tip and it sounds phenomenal… It has that deep growl I’ve been searching for and I love it.. Honestl, I don’t even listen to my system anymore LOL. I wind down my window and enjoy the aggressive sound….

I have a 2004 Lincoln Aviator and live in the rust belt. It came time to replace my mid-muffler so I did some research and landed on this. It still has 3 factory cats and a stock resonator on the tailpipe. The sound is fantastic and it’s not too loud that I can’t hear my stereo. I can hear the difference in tone inside but didn’t make it significantly louder. I need to replace the stock resonator at some point but with the current setup I definitely recommend.

Better than OEM with muffler delete for sure, gives it a deeper tone and not as tinney
