It was a bit difficult to get it started on the hose but once there it has worked great. No leaks!

We needed a “custom” sewer hose for our trailer. It has a short storage pipe, and we wanted to get as much length for an extended hose as we could, while fitting into a short space. We purchased the Valterra hose and one each of the male and female Valterra hose ends.Installation was a breeze, and we were able to cut a couple of feet off of the stock 20′ hose to get it small enough to push into the hose holder.You can buy other sewar hoses to put ends on, however, the spiral in the wire in most of them goes the wrong direction. The Valterra hose is would the other direction (Don’t ask me which way, as I don’t have the hose in front of me), but suffice it to say, inserting these into other brands of hoses can be done against the natural thread direction, but it is a PITA. Overall, great custom solution for our needs.

I like that the fitting threads snug on to the 3-inch hose, eliminating the need and cost of a hose clamp. Allows me the flexibility of using longer or shorter hoses as required.

This make a great replacement for a sewer hose end, I only gave it 4 stars for easy installation because it does require some effort to screw it in. What is so great about it is that you can cut your 20ft hoses and make different length hoses to ease in dumping holding tanks when the sewer drops are closer than 20ft. Another thing about it is when the hose wears out just unscrew it to use on the new hose.

While on a trip to the Garnd Canyon a raven pecked a hole in our hose near the connection. I bought this repair connection and installed following the instructions. It was a little difficult to install as you have to turn it into the hose until it makes a good seal. Got it installed and it works well with no leaks. I definitely recommend it but I feel the price is a little high.

This is by far the easiest fitting to use on the sewer hose. The slip on fitting take forever to put on the sewer hose correctly.

I needed an extra fitting for the old stinky slinky so that I can attach and remove an elbow. This one was exactly what was called for. Great quality and it screws right into the hose, no hose clamps required.

Threads on to 3″ right hand or left hand threaded sewer hose. Seems to make snug fit without a hose clamp. If you have a slightly undersized bumper to store your hose this attachment won’t get stuck. Won’t know until I get a chance to use it if the bayonet connector seals with the elbow.
