generator exhaust silencer kit
The Perfect Companion For Your Generator Shed
This generator exhaust muffler kit, through a unique transmission path, alters the tone of noise, enabling noise cancellation and conversion to achieve noise reduction effects. The muffling and filtering cotton installed inside the pipe wall filters out solid matter in the exhaust gas emitted by the generator, allowing you to live free from noise disturbances. Choose MADONGLI for a green and healthy lifestyle.
Greener and Dependable
Alloy Steel with Baked Paint Finish
The main muffler kit is crafted from hardened alloy steel and subjected to a baking paint coating process.
This ensures superior rust and corrosion resistance as well as enhanced heat dissipation capabilities under varying environmental conditions.
The wall mount bracket features a pressed-pattern fixing ring design, which minimizes noise caused by vibrations. Additionally, it facilitates heat dissipation from the muffler housing, reducing the transmission of heat emitted by the muffler itself.
WIDE COMPATIBILITY
Two different styles of exhaust adapters are included, ensuring compatibility with all brands and models of portable generators.
This includes compatibility with Firman models such as T07571, T07573, WH03242, & H07552, as well as Honda models like EU7000is and EU6500is, among others.
This feature ensures a stress free installation process for most generator mufflers with No. 68 and 88 spark suppressor filters, and spark suppressor holes with 1-1/2″ to 1-3/4″ spacing.

Reverse Cross-patterned Design
The innovative fish-scale design of the inner chamber within the muffler tube, featuring alternating positive and negative hole directions along with segmented compartments within the tube, creates a distinct transmission path. This design enables sound entering through the positive and negative muffling holes to undergo multiple refractions, collisions, and cancellations along the inner walls of the tube, ultimately achieving an ideal noise reduction effect.
Silencing cotton
The interior interlayer of the muffler tube is filled with sound-absorbing cotton, which enables the generator to effectively absorb the noise generated during exhaust discharge and ventilation through the sound-absorbing filter cotton. This process not only dampens the noise but also effectively filters the exhaust gas emitted by the generator to a certain extent.
Widening waterproof exhaust port
- Employment of a widened exhaust port enables smoother gas expulsion during .
- Waterproof cover design, not afraid of stormy weather and rainwater backflow.
Powerful sealing performance
In order to avoid the problem of exhaust gas leakage caused by poor sealing performance at the joints of traditional extended exhaust mufflers during the exhaust process, which leads to incomplete discharge of exhaust gas outside the house, we have designed threads at the joints such as connecting pipes and adapters. The connection method is tightened by rotation, which effectively solves the problem of exhaust gas leakage in traditional exhaust mufflers. In addition, we have equipped a roll of sealing tape and wrapped it around the threaded part of the joint, making the joint more secure and sealed during rotation installation!
Installing Steps
Wall Mounting
Drill a hole with a diameter of approximately 5 inches on the wall (or wooden board), and install the mounting bracket of the exhaust muffler onto the wall (or wooden board) corresponding to the hole.
Exhaust Outlet Adapter
At the exhaust outlet of the generator, replace or install an adapter. Equipped with two styles of adapters, it offers wide compatibility with various generator models. Choose the suitable adapter and replace or properly install the exhaust adapter.
Connection at Both Ends
Connect the generator adapter to the exhaust muffler using a connecting hose by tightening it clockwise. First, tighten one end of the connecting hose (external thread) to the adapter interface installed on the generator, then tighten the other end (internal thread) to the threaded end of the exhaust muffler. Finally, thread the exhaust muffler through the wall bracket.

Connected right to my engine and ran through side wall to outside of gen house. Very nice, I bought 2” heat wrap and wrapped the whole line to keep the heat in so gen house isn’t too hot. Other than that it’s a good kit.

Like the threaded flex lineWishing it cam with a threaded cupler/hex union besides the 90° elbow

This generator exhaust kit fit my Duramax 13,000 perfectly. Easy to install and has everything you need right out of the box. I made a separate housing for my generator right outside the living room wall in the backyard and needed an exhaust extension so that the exhaust didn’t shut off the generator by tripping the CO2 safety feature.Fairly straightforward install. Also seems to make it a little quieter. Overall very happy with the quality of this exhaust extension kit!

Not much to say here. Added this device to my generator and it made no difference in sound/noise. The only somewhat positive is being able to direct the exhaust in a certain direction.

Build quality on this exhaust setup was not great. Lots of rust out of the box with subpar welds and chipping paint everywhere. The hose is so stiff that it is nearly impossible to adjust and the wire mesh had multiple loose strands that cut my hands up. Almost impossible to get an air tight seal on this, so had to give up on it before I really got myself into trouble with the CO levels.

The description states that it fits a DuroMax XP13000 and will bolt to exhaust muffler. Not true. I have a new DuroMax 13000HXT and none of the fittings included allow it to connect directly to my muffler. Directions state to not remove existing muffler. Required a trip to NAPA to purchase a flex exhaust pipe and muffler sealer to “jerry rig”. Save your money and make your own exhaust system.

Worked after a little redo’s.

This kit claims to make the generator quieter (although it wasn’t horribly loud to begin with) but I saw basically no reduction in sound. The benefit of this kit is extending the exhaust to the outside of an enclosure, but in all honesty this can be accomplished much cheaper with some flexible exhaust pipe…
