Atownammo –
This thing is yet another perfect example of more cheaply made and substandard crap from China. It conducted power even when the solenoid wasn’t energized and I had to take it apart and modify it so that it would actually open the contacts and cut the power when de-energized, and all they had to do was install an extra spacer on the internal plunger that moves up and down to open and close the contacts. And I don’t know if the one I ordered was defective or if it wasn’t intended for sustained energization because it lasted two days before the plastic housing that encases the solenoid got so hot that it started to melt and burn. It probably would have caught on fire if it wasn’t for the burning smell that got my attention. I would give it zero stars if it would let me.
