While it may not be the most exciting thing for your bike, it is handy and I’m very happy with this tank bag on my KTM 890 Adventure R!In my case, I was specifically looking for a smaller tank bag that wasn’t intrusive, and could fit a minimalist amount of stuff for day trips when out adventure riding. This bag fit that description. The space inside is good, with the expectation that I specifically ordered the small size. I am very pleased with the design and layout of the storage space. Rocky Mountain ATV put a lot of thought into their design. The fit and finish of the bag feel great, zippers are good, and the exterior material feels like it should last well. Overall I’m very please with how well and securely it mounted to my bike, and the fit and function have been great so far.As of yet, I have not been able to test their water resistance on this tank bag. Included is a rain cover to completely cover the bag if needed. That would be my only hope for future versions of this bag…please continue improving the water resistance to eventually not need the rain cover at all.I have only had the tank bag for a short while, so while I can’t speak to its long term durability…so far….it seems like a solid purchase that will be with me for many miles of dirt riding. Thanks Rocky Mountain ATV for making a solid tank bag at a great price!

Arrived quickly and packaged well. Quick and easy install on the bike. They provide instructions but you don’t need them, took all of 5 minutes. Looks well built and does not interfere with movement while riding. Adjusts so there is access to the fuel cap without unstrapping. YKK zippers with pull tabs work well. Glad I ordered the “Large” bag because this thing is still VERY small. My hand is larger than this bag (see picture). Should work for storing small items like air gage, a small can of chain lube, visor cleaner and rag, maybe a small camera. Full gauntlet gloves take up almost the entire interior. Looks good, fits great, should work!

Schnell aus den USA geliefert. Keine Zoll Zusatzkosten. Qualität von TUSK ist Spitze. Passt auf der Norden 901 perfekt. Die Regenhaube wird mitgeliefert, nimmt aber in dem Tankbag einiges an Platz weg.

I bought the “large” one, but it is still on the smallish side. Nevertheless, it is made well with solid materials and lots of organization options like extra pockets, elastic loops and a removable divider. Despite its universal nature, it installed easy enough and is stable and secure. I have an ADV background, but am riding a 99 R1100RT these days, and it fits well on a bike that has a hard time fitting quality tank bags without breaking the bank. Highly recommended.

One of the biggest plus point for this removable bag is the elastic keeper straps to stop the front main straps falling into the abyss when you remove it for fuel. Unfortunately mine were (not) missing.*** found the straps today, they were inside the rain cover which I’ve never used so didn’t see them***

This tank bag is practical and is a good idea but it really needs to be improved!-1☆: Not waterproof-1☆: Makes my cell phone overheat when placed in the clear plastic space and the touch screen loses almost all sensibility in it.

I purchased the Tusk large for my ‘18 KLR 650. High quality bag with nice extra features. Mounts quickly and holds secure. Fits like it was made for the KLR. Fast shipping from the vendor. I’d give it ten stars if that was an option.

This tank bag was a godsend. It’s perfect for my phone and other small do-dads that I would rather not have floating unsecured in my pockets while riding. I have never trusted phone mounts, but I definitely trust the straps of this bag. There is a transparent plastic pocket on the top that is accessed via zipper and designed for putting a phone into for navigation purposes (it fits a Samsung S22 Ultra comfortably).Tusk’s offerings are easily the best value in the industry. I consider this bag to be a must-buy for any rider regardless of bike style.

Has been fantastic on a KLR 650 who’s seen 4,000 miles of off road and on-road rides for the past nine months. It’s also been through several wet rides with nary a leak except during a couple hour long or more downpours. Even then, it kept it’s contents relatively dry. And that was without putting on the rain cover. Also very easy to release during fuel stops and has done no damage to the painted tank.
