The instructions were not very clear. I didn’t know the insert was downwards. I attempted to put it inwards towards the front of the truck. In any case, fit was easy once I figured that out.So a couple of things to take note. I installed a hook towards the bottom of the truck bed and had to take it off before the box could fit in.Next, to change the code on the lock was difficult. The supplied metal pointed key was too big to press down the button to change the code. Use a paper clip or something smaller.I was pleasantly surprised that there was a divider. This is great if you have smaller items to keep below and others on top. For myself, I took out the divider because the tool pouch I am placing inside takes up the entire container.Overall, once installed, I’m very happy with the results. Price was right and a lot cheaper than the originals. Fit was great. No complaints.

I bought the XLT Maverick and it had a cubby on one side and just a blank on the other. I decided more storage would be what I needed and this works just as well as the one on the other side.
