Kindle Reader –
There is a pen, and a brush. Sounds simple…. except that the instructions are so confusing we have not figured it out after a week. Instructions show 3 different tubes, none matches this touch up product, are we supposed to buy other products to use this one? Also tell us Tricoat color to apply 2-3 coats of Basecoat followed by Midcoat: no clue what the Basecoat or the Tricoat or Midcoat are about…) And the final mystery is apply the Clearcoat red label on top of the colorcoat: no idea where this Clearcoat is about, all we got is a pen with instructions which obviously belong to a different product. Apart from these instructions, this is a five star as it is a perfect match, we cannot even find where the scratch on our fridge was!

This is a combined brush and sponge applicator – one on each end. It’s easy to apply; my only issue is that it doesn’t seem to exactly match the LG dishwasher – it’s a little darker. It’s kind of weird – you don’t notice the little scratch I’m trying to cover if you look from a certain angle but if you look straight on, you can see this is darker. Just watch that. I have purchased some universal silver that I found and I’m going to try to mix it to get a closer match.

This is an interesting applicator with paint that dries quickly and is a perfect match for the selected color. Just be SURE to shake the container up very well as some of the paints have metal flake and several dye colors mixed together to supply the match. We needed a touch-up paint for a refrigerator and, obviously, it is hard to bring any part to get a color match from the paint stores. Checking with the manufacturer (GE) we got both the name and color number of the paint and this proved to be the least expensive and easy to use solution to the requirement. We did apply two coats as the paint is rather thin to make the applicator work as it does but it looks GREAT and the repair is not even visible.
StillOK –
I bought this touch-up paint to repair a few small chips on top of our LG dryer. I shook the bottle really well to make sure the metallic particles were well mixed, then applied with the included brush applicator. The color might be pretty close, but the sheen is not close, so it’s really hard to tell if the color really matches or not. The photos show the exact same touched-up spots under the same lighting from two different angles. The paint does not look the same as the original from either view angle. Maybe it needs a clear coat, but if so, for $20 cost the kit should have come with it. Very disappointing results, in my opinion. 2 stars rather than 1 because the applicator was easy to use. Would not buy again.

I dropped items that fell onto our stop and caused two nicks that took off the enamel, resulting in two black marks. One black mark was on the right edge of the stove near the right front burner; the other nick was on the left top ledge of the bottom drawer.Fortunately, I found I this product from TouchUpDirect and could not be happier!! As you can tell, the color match is perfect!! Also, the pen is very easy to use. One side gives the primer coating while the other side provides the touch up paint. Thank you TouchUpDirect!! What a great product!!

Color didn’t match the graphite color of LG washer. Used the brush end of container. Didn’t trust the pen end after trying it on paper. When end was pressed, paint came out profusely. Didn’t think it could be controlled on the washing machine and would make a mess.
