This is a substantial bracket. It comes with a regular nut for permanent mounting as well as a wing nut if you want to move it.I will also try to use this for woodworking and use on my workbench with dog holes. I have to make an adapter. I think I can embed the nut at the end of a 3 / 4 ” wood dowel and screw this bracket into it. Not sure how well it will work but it’s worth trying. Another thought is to put a 90 degree bracket at the edge of the bench and mount this bracket on that.

I keep forgetting to take pictures of this clamp while in use at the shop, so I’ll just go ahead and say this thing is a workhorse! It’s perfectly made for portable and regular welding tables with 16mm holes. You can tighten it as much as you like without fear of breaking the handle or the clamp, and it’ll keep the material in place just like it’s supposed to. I do use this in conjunction with my vice grips, and together they make a great team. Highly recommended!

Since buying a thin top welding table recently, I have been looking at different compatible accessories. This clamp works perfectly: low price, very sturdy and works perfectly on my table. It holds metal securely and is much higher quality than what came with the table

Flexibility to adapt… We use this clamp style to ground our welder to thick steel projects and as a clamp after adding a bar levers of various sizes. The bottom screw handle surface contact plastic cap should be larger to provide a more secure connection to surfaces.

Threads don’t all work and the finish is sloppy and chipped. Came fully assembled. Made from strong, thick material, so the potential was there. Kind of just makes it more frustrating that it doesn’t work well because of the trashy threads. Not worth the money. I suggest looking for other options

This heavy weight welding table clamp is comparable in quality to wood bench clamps. It is made of thick, steel and good castings with a smooth operation of the screw down clamp. Provided is a wing nut and a hex bolt to secure it to the table. I did find that welding tables are not universal in their slot sizes and my welding table is not compatible with this clamp. If you are willing to drill holes in your table, top of the correct size, it should function just fine.
