Being able to start the car from a distance is super super handy and excellent. I remember when I lived in Chicago and it snowed, I’d go and start the car and set the heater at max defrost so I wouldn’t have to mess with scraping the windows clear. but I still had to go outside and back to do this. With a remote start it makes that soooo much better nd easier and simple. Also nice in summer to get that a/c working and not have to get into a sweltering car. very cool item indeed. Well made and good quality from a good company.A good deal. 🙂

I have installed several remote starters from Start-X.All of them including this one were simple plug and play.There is no wire splicing required and just about anyone can install this kit.I have had questions in the past and customer service was responsive and answered my questions.A computer is required to set this up which is no big deal, but I wanted to mention that.I would buy again.5 STARS

I was a little hesitant when I saw all the step to program and flash the module but it’s easy, I’m not a car mechanic by trade but can change most parts. The video and directions are thorough, and the price can’t be beat for a remote start with the existing remote. Bought two for a TLX and MDX

Absolute trash product.1. arrived 2 days late.2. its convinced my pilot is a ridgeline3. the software download website is geared more towards trying to get you to buy additional junk products than it is actually making the necessary download easily accessible.4. whoever wrote the “manual” CLEARLY has never used tech publications before. there is a HUGE difference between a light “flashing” green ONCE, and a light “blinking” “rapidly”. the light functions on the device rarely matched up with what the manual said they should be.5. the software you download is something i would expect to have been written by a HS drop-out. It’s absolutely HORRIBLE.6. i CONSISTENTLY get a “message” in the software that states my “remote function is disabled by default”…why in the actual EFF, would that be a “thing”…it’s literally the whole purpose of the device.7. the device absolutely WILL NOT reset after the initial configuration.Absolutely could not be more disappointed with this junk. On a good note, at least I got good practice ripping my wifes dash open, ya know, because thats always fun.

I confirmed with the manufacturer that all this does is start the car, it does not set the climate control or seat heat or any other features. I decided to return it and install the factory module.
