Product Description
SPELAB Line Lock Brake Lock Roll Control Electric Kit
Line lock kit: Used primarily in drag racing to provide positive locking action to the front wheels to reduce the chance of ”Rolling the Lights” and produce more effective burnouts for heating the tires. Easy to do a burn out by locking the front tires and releasing the back brakes with this system.
Line locks are often used for burnouts by fully locking the front wheels and then engaging the gas pedal and disengaging the clutch pedal, this makes the rear tires spin but keeps the car stationary.
Determine the fittings you will require to complete your installation. You may need to purchase these standard fittings, adapters and brake lines.

- The port marked “M” is the inlet. Connect the line coming from the master cylinder (through the proportioning valve in most cases) to this port. Confirm with the drawings in these instructions. Use teflon tape on the npt fittings into the solenoid.
- Use any of the other three remaining npt ports to go to the rear (or front depending on your application) brakes and plug off the remaining two open ports using 1/8” npt plugs. Use teflon tape on the 1/8” npt fittings.
- Connect the black wire from the line lock to a clean chassis ground, or directly to the battery negativeterminal if desired.
- Make all connections using the appropriate size lines, fittings and unions etc.
- If one line requires removal from the proportioning valve (some applications only), use an appropriate SAE inverted flare plug to seal the port. (no teflon tape is used on SAE inverted flare fittings)

Installation notes:
- Do not allow anything enter the braking system. Clean all connections and the surrounding area prior to disassembly and take care when reassembling to avoid anything entering the system.
- This line lock is to be installed in the front braking system (for rear wheel drive vehicles) for drag race staging or burnouts. Alternatively, in the rear braking system for front wheel drive vehicles. This solenoid will not impede normal braking when installed correctly.
- On any vehicle, the brake lights must function when the brake system is under pressure. If your application bypasses the OEM brake light switch, then another switch must be added to retain the brake light operation. A standard pressure activated switch can be installed in one of the unused ports of the line lock.
- Mount the solenoid securely to prevent brake line flexing which could lead to leaking or failure. Mount away from heat, suspension, steering and any moving parts.
- Always use a brake line wrench when securing fittings. Use a tube bender for bending lines to avoid kinking and breaking. Use teflon tape on NPT (pipe thread) fittings only.

This product works awesome. I use it to do break stands with my car. It will hold car in place till you let go of that button.

The instructions were fine. Wiring was very thin. I suggest using your own harness and switch. Remember it is not a Holley. Good for the price.

I spent weeks sending emails back and forth . They were very nice but each time it was as if they didn’t read the last email. I’ve given up. The switch they send is CHEAP the indicator light is even worse. I finally got this installed … the little light threw in trash … but it works great but not an easy install

Al momento de aplicarlo no alcanza a detener completamente las llantas delanteras y ya hasta purgue el sistema

It works as expected. Not a fan of the components like the switch and the light that came with it. I used my own switch. The solenoid looks like quality, mounted good. People say and I read reviews about them leaking. If you teflon tape all your fittings like I did and use the adapters like you should, there is no reason this can work for a fraction of the cost of a Hurst or other model. I have tested this and so far works as well as the expensive brands. Just take your time installing it and make sure you tape your fittings and you should be fine.

I tested this item before I spent the time to install it and it’s a good thing I did. The solenoid valve leaks when energized. The amount isn’t a lot, but it doesn’t hold fluid 100%. I’d hate to use this expecting it to hold my brakes, only for it to let off enough pressure to let the brakes go and cause an issue, or worse, an accident. My recommendation would be to spend a bit more and get one that’s a better quality.

I bought this to use if I use my truck Winch. I can Lock the front brakes and use the Ebrake for the back, Certain applications may call for adapters not included for a Dodge at least, but it does work really well
