I shot 3 coats of this over metal flake and was amazed by how little orange peel there was. This is a perfect example of a product where inexpensive doesn’t mean cheap. I bought it for the price and never expected it to be such a time saver, not to mention the added benefit of a lower film thickness. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

I paint golf cart bodies and in order to get the volume of carts I paint I have to find the cheapest best performing products. I’ve tried other clears but this for me is the easiest to lay down and wetsand-buff if needed.

This product is perfect for overcoating Rustoleum paint projects. Will not wrinkle when sprayed over Rustoleum like other clear coats. Next day cut and buff and will produce a wonderful shine. When stacking clear coats, allow thirty minutes between coats. Under normal conditions 60 to 80 degrees allow 10 minutes between the three coats will give you a runless finish, when you gun is set right. I have use this with guns from harbor freight and got great results painting without a spray booth. All in all if you are thinking about a Rustoleum paint job definitely use this clear coat. Its also great for normal auto paint, it was made for it.Remember… the final finish will be what is under it, if ya have orange peal in your color, you will have in the clear…Dont blame the product, blame the preparation.ENJOY.P.S. forgot to say…great seller fast shipper and I am a repeat buyer…will always buy again!

i have purchase multiple gallons of speedkote of different types of products but this urethane was very thin almost to thin to use as for your car. If you use this i’d recommend a high end HVLP gun and put it on very light due to its viscosity.

Wish I had better equipment & more knowledge.. the runs etc have nothing to do w the product.. it looks excellent except for the flaws I created…
