Utah #1 –
Didn’t realize this “kit” came as all unassembled pieces. Though there were no instructions, it was easy to put together with the included Teflon seal tape. You will need a narrow jaw wrench or narrow jaw vise grips/pliers to hold the hose fitting while tightening the other fittings to the hose, but it went together well. I was a little concerned that the ball valve might leak air, so I attached it to a 120 psi air source and submerged the quick-connect air fitting/ball valve subassembly in a container of water. There were no air leaks (bubbles). I actuated the ball valve a few times and repeated the test. There were no air leaks on any part of the subassembly. The hose is plenty flexible. The brass garden hose attachments were nicely machined, and threaded on the kit hose easily and tightly. The assembled kit threaded onto the RV water port with no issues. This blowout adapter kit does the intended job. Will also use it to winterize my residential hoses and sprinkler lines.

Worked well from date of purchase Jan 2023 through April. Was never kinked or run over. Properly coiled and stored through summer. Failed to work upon plugging in this last week.

I bought this to blow out my hose reels before winter and it worked great. It comes with extra fitting that would allow you to blow the lines out in your house too. My father used it on his motorhome.
