Product was so easily installed within an hour, love the on demand and unlimited hot water for our 5th wheel. We live in full time. Also, kitchen quickly warm, no waiting for hot water to reach the kitchen!

This unit is a precise replacement for the 6 gallon Suburban gas water heater. The Bonus surprise was the price is actually less than a direct, identical replacement. Removing the old heater was a cinch as I had done it several times during the 12 years we got out of the Suburban heater. Once removed the only hick- up was that the cold water and hot water lines do not align with the new unit; however that is easily solved by installing flexible water lines that were about 16 inches long complete with adapters on the heater before sliding it into the original cavity on the drivers side of my Motorhome as the unit is about 6 inches shallower the hoses can be configured in an S bend and then connected to the original plumbing.Beware if you have a 10 gallon water heater the cavity in the sidewall of your Motorhome will be larger and you will need to rivet some sheet metal to the sidewall to take up the extra space. A friend of mine installed the exact same unit and simply used a sheet of stainless steel laser cut to size at a fabrication shop. By the way the unit comes with a nifty locking outer access door for extra peace of mind. We have been very pleased with this unit so far; the best part is when you realize that you can now have limitless hot water when taking a shower! There is of course the downside, that being you only do that when you’re in an RV park with the grey tank left open. 🤣🤣

Well, it’s taking me a while to get it installed after ordering it. I didn’t realize that it was DC powered when I purchased it so I had to purchase other equipment to get it to work properly. finally got it hooked up and working set the water temperature for 115° and took my first hot shower in my home. Just a side note make sure you use just the hot water. If you add cold water, you lose your hot water.

Works as should. Easy install. Had a dual propane & electric tank unit prior, just tied into 12V power from propane switch and everything worked as it should. Impressed with this unit.

Does not operate as advertised or expected. Keeps raising temp to the point of scalding. Does not mix well when adjusted. Customer service no help with the units operation failures.

Very odd how this place will keep your money from a return forever even though I purchased another one!!! I am out over $500 for one working unit. And it doesn’t even work all that great and I might return it! We are very unhappy customers who spend thousands on Amazon

This was a perfect replacement for my 5 gallon water heater. We are planning to be snowbirds and live full time in our RV. Getting wet, shutting off the water and soaping up, then turning it back on and rinsing off was not going to work. My wife and I find 105 degrees to be perfect for us. We only turn on the hot water and leave the cold water off. The temperature remains at 105 for the whole shower. My wife and I can take showers back to back and never have to wait for water to heat up. My wife even does dishes sometimes while I’m showering and I don’t even notice a difference in temperature. I will never go back to a tank type water heater. A few things you may want to do to make you showers great is to remove ant flow restricting device in you shower unit. If you have a cheap pressure regulator, it may restrict the flow so I would buy one a little more expensive with a gauge. Also try to set the temp that is most enjoyable to all who use it. Mixing with cold seems to cause a little fluctuation in the temperature. I have had a great experience with this unit and would recommend it to RVers who use full hookups. Boondockers may not be able to appreciate the full benefits of unlimited hot water.
