This ribbed design weatherstripping is perfect for many applications especially marine and rv use. Adhesion is good and it should hold up well in a variety of weather conditions.

I needed the other side of the seal for our sliding glass door. We had put a doggy door in and needed to close the gap to prevent the AC from escaping. I put a door sweep on one side, but really needed a soft connector on the other to finish the seal.Fit: It was 65 inches. 80 would be better for door height, but it is in the description.Seal: Its a soft rubber, but not a foam rubber. It seals really well.Adhesion: I ran a rag with rubbing alcohol on it over the ahesion spot. Put it on and it stuck great. I was able to move it, but it didn’t like it. Try to get it right the first time.Quality: High quality seal. Looks great.

Seems like a quality ribbed seal and appears to be a match for what’s on my RV door frame. The adhesive’s protective backing is tricky to remove as you’d expect but that’s probably an indicator of a good adhesive. Installation is easy, the harder part is removing any existing seal you’re replacing. It didn’t come with any prep pad but I’d recommend to prep the surface by cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol or a dedicated adhesion prep pad to make a good bond to whatever you’re sticking it to.This stuff is more dense than your typical “D” type seal so keep that in mind if you’re changing seal types as it may not compress as much, which may or may not be desirable for you.My one gripe is that the protective backing on the double sided tape had lifted in a few spots every few inches due to the tight radius this seal comes wound in for shipping, but it was double sealed so hopefully that didn’t end up compromising the long term adhesion.

This is a very good quality product. Its best function is on doors to hatches on boats or RVs. It is too narrow for a toy-hauler ramp. It measures 5/8 inch wide and 65 inches long. The adhesive is very strong but I would suggest getting a good adhesive remover and cleaner to wipe the surface clean, then use an adhesion promoter on the surface prior to installing the seal material. Then it is just pealing the backing off and install it. Simple and easy installation. You should probably test it on the surface you expect to use it on to ensure it will work and give you the tight seal expected. I think it is comparatively priced with most auto parts stores.

This is a really nice seal! I’ve been having a hard time getting my camper to seal and I must have bought 8 different types/size of seal. I saw this and thought it was worth a try. I didn’t expect to be impressed by this seal, but compared to the marine seal I got from the big box store this one is a much nicer quality. The marine seal from the store is quite foamy – this one has got more substance to it. It feels like it’s going to last a lot longer than the big box counterpart. Easy to stick on and holding great so far. Also – it ended up fitting perfectly!
