I love this style of winter tire chain tighteners. I own a local snow plow company that always pays for the quality products, they just last longer. The tire chains I use on our equipment are the ‘cam-lock’ style so they tighten fairly snug as is, but I add this style of adjuster to them to keep them good and tight. These chain tighteners are very simple to use, as you just hook each leg into a side chain link, working your way around the outside or the tire. Just be sure the hook faces out away from the sidewall of your tires. These ones are made of a good study HD rubber material, the I hope will last many seasons.
