Will work on 11.5 AAM rear spindle nut if you take a grinder to the inside corners. Great price,

It will work if you grind or file the inside corners so that’s what I did so it would work

This socket fit perfectly to the wheel spindle of a 2001 GMC 2500HD 11.5″ AAM rear end full floating axle. I read that other tools you had to shave down the tabs to fit but you don’t have to do that with this specific socket. FYI the EverTough 67037 socket rental from O’Reilly’s does NOT fit.

Great value and good fit without any grinding, I was able to seat and then torque down the spindle nuts but I did have a little trouble backing off the nut afterwards… the socket tends to slip a little because the nut uses rounded holes. An true socket for this nut would have round pins instead of square ones, but those cost WAY more and this got it done.If your doing this job once then this is your tool, but if your a pro, pass this by and get a round pin one.

Works great. I saw a few reviews where people needed to shave down the corners of the tabs for the early 14 bolt axles, but I was able to use it out of the box with no issues. Its a socket, it didn’t break, not much else I can say.
