I am an attorney. I practice in several counties. This bag is just small enough that I use it as a glorified laptop case. It is perfect to get some work done in the car. It fits my laptop, a full folio, several full legal size file folders, and my giant hydro flask. It is super convenient to be able to bring a large file without cramming into my messenger bag.Cons: I am a big dude. It is a little big for a smaller person to lug around as a laptop bag. Also, if it is not full it can look a little deflated. It is better suited for a person that will use the car-seat configuration or who will generally keep it pretty full.Cons: The padding for the spine of a laptop is not super-thick. I put a piece of mechanic’s/gardener’s kneeler pad in the bottom. I wouldn’t feel comfortable plopping this down with my laptop in it without some extra padding.

This bag is perfect because it has a space for me to put my own devices as well as any tools, cords, adapters, and more that I might need to carry with me. The shoulder strap makes it easy to just throw it over my shoulder and head down the hall to whichever classroom I need to be in at the moment. The bag is large but it does not hold its shape well at all. Clips to hold the front section open are to short and doesn’t allow it to open all the way.
