- Both front and back sides are designed with cross-shaped anti-slip bumps and surface grooves that make it easier to grip the ground and tires.

I ordered these as extra insurance for the sandy, wet sloppy conditions that are Florida in the rainy hurricane season. I ran over them in my yard with no issues, but have not had had to use them in recovery mode.Since I’ll only carry them when I’m venturing off-road or in sketchy tropical storm conditions, I didn’t want a permanent mounting solution for the roof of my Chevy Colorado. I got a set of SeaSucker Universal Recovery Board Mounts (SM2705) that work great with strong vacuum mounts for a short term installation without having to drill holes in my truck or ruin my gas mileage when I’m only traveling on the highway. So far, I’m very happy with them. I’ve had them on the roof of my truck up to 80 mph without any issues at all.

Drove onto the beach in Washington state. Got a little too far into the soft powdery sand once and nearly got stuck. Bought these for the next trip, and ended up using them. They worked extremely well with this rig. I like the carry bag as well – makes it easy to stow in my cargo storage.I did have a slight problem. There was a small crack after the first use. Not really surprised due to the high weight on this. Even if they eventually fall apart after many uses, they are definitely worth the price.
