Coils typically do not provide exciting reviews. However if you sit down and eat some pop corn, prepare to be riveted: This one works well and is definitely better than my 50 year old OEM…and I actually have data that it is reliable. One day i left the truck ignition “on”. This is an old truck that has been wired for full 12 v at the coil with key on. I also had a battery charger on pumping fresh juice into the system and I walked away for 2 hours (duh!). When I got back and realized the stupidity of my actions, turned off the key, unplugged the charger and I went over to touch the coil. It was burning hot. An hour later it had cooled down and truck started right up. This situation would burn out a lesser coil. So considering price and performance i am giving it 5 stars.

Same size as old unit. Thought this was thr issue with my tractor but turned out to be a bad starter. Price was good

using this coil in a vw based sandrail with points ignition and it has a nice hot spark and actually starts easier and runs smoother then with the bosch coil i borrowed for another vw

I went to Auto Zone with my old part. They gave me what they said was a perfect match, it wasn’t. The ignition coil that I purchased from Amazon made all the difference in the world on how my 46 Dodge truck ran. Great product!

Coil work as it’s supposed to, and sold by a small business. Delivered on time, actually it arrived 2 days earlier.

These are very good quality coils. I had one for over 10 years and thought it quit; the problem was (which was a blank to find) was that the distributor lost proper grounding after sitting for a long time. Re-tested the old one and it still worked fine. Now I have a spare.
