They are a metal looking plastic shell with a spring around the inside that evidently is suppose to engage the threads on the tire valve. First set received, two screwed on tight, one you could pull straight off with no force and the fourth one barely touched the threads. So being a ‘Fighting Irishman’ I returned them for a second set. Exact same results. In fact this time, the tire valve was at the top of the tire, I put the cap on and as soon as I released it, it fell off by itself.

Item Description says ‘NCAA Notre Dame Fighting Irish Metal Tire Valve Stem Caps, 4-Pack’ however these are in fact not Metal and can be found at a better price on ebay.
