The right type of tool the job called for, I started to take a short cut using a steering wheel puller, but figured out in time that it would’ve cost me more, because it would have warped or broke the magnetic hub balance. The project is a 2011 China built Moped, ignition system. I’m glad that I made the right choice obtaining the center type puller, it took me seconds pulling the magnetic hub off.

It did what it was saposta do and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Some of the threads were a little damaged but might not matter. For about $30 CAD, it’s to be expected. Grease the threads. Hit the forcing screw with a soft faced hammer once tight and then gradually tighten. Keep doing this repeatedly and it should work fine.

I am absolutely disappointed in this product. The bolt threads in the pullers are not centred And as such risk damaging the crankshaft or flywheel itself. Unfortunately, these are nothing more than scrap metal and a total waste of money. This will cost me a week on an engine rebuild while I source a better product. Will be contacting Amazon for a refund.

I used it on 80’s Honda scooter, but checked with other motorcycles that I own and it seems to have puller for them in the set. It looks well made and excellent value for money.
