This replacement dashboard panel is engineered to help you install an aftermarket 4 inch tall (Double-DIN) radio so that you can upgrade the stereo much easier. Since the original dashboard on these older models cannot fit a larger radio this replacement panel allows you to upgrade to a bigger modern radio without complex or labor-intensive custom fabrication. It is custom textured to match the original look and feel of the vehicles dashboard and includes multiple trim panels and brackets to cover different vehicle options and trim levels.

You will need to do some major mods to the inside of your dash for a double din to fit with this fit. Once you get it right, this kit does a great job giving you a clean finish and look. Make sure you paint your vents Matte Black. Use Kyrlon FUSION spray paint in matte black, take the vents OUT of the ducts before painting and I recommend washing them with a good degreasing soap and drying them thouroughly before painting.One thing to note!!! DO NOT USE your factory screws to screw in the new plate on the left side for the Drive Switch (2WD, 4WD Low, 4WD High) etc. When you screw them down they are too long and will push through the front of the plate causing damage to the plastic and making little white pimple marks on the plastic face where the screw tries to oush through. Use shorter screws!!!

Installed on 2003 harley f150. Color was a perfect match. Looks like OEM but with modern 7″ monitor! Don’t be afraid to cut the sub dash, none of it will show.

Great kit. Pay attention to instructions and mock up the build before screwing everything in to ensure you have it together right. It’s a bit of a puzzle, but comes together nicely. I used factory hardware and the screws were too long. They protruded through the front a bit creating little bulging dots. I emailed Metra including a picture, and they ended up editing their instruction manual and shipped me new parts. Great service!!

too expensive product and it didn’t come with the hardware necessary to assemble the product i have to take some bolts from my junk laptop to finish the assembly not recomended
