Product Description
Why do I need to install a trailer hitch cover?
- Prolonged exposure to air can dampen the metal and damage the tube.
- In dust, ice, rain, snow, etc., receivers can fill with dirt and interfere with use.
- When not towing, they keep the receiver tube clean and have a sleek, patriotic aesthetic at the same time.

Quality: The locking trailer hitch pin is well made and comes with four o-rings to prevent rattling. The key insert area on the hitch pin has a rubber cover to prevent dirt from getting into the locking mechanism.Functionality: The hitch pin and lock are easy to use and able to pull my boat trailer and boat (2,000 pounds) without any issues. The hitch pin is longer than necessary and will rattle around without the supplied o-rings. The item comes with two keys. I do have a concern that if saltwater gets into the locking mechanism, the unit will be inoperable. The hitch cover is made of thinner metal that appears to be painted or anodized.Considering the quality, functionality, and cost, this is a decent setup.

I grabbed this for a co-worker who has a Punisher/skull thing going on with his 4-Runner. I just pulled up one day, installed it on his hitch and walked away. About an hour later he came running up to me all smiles saying how great he thought it looked. The locking pin is pretty good quality and will be useful for his actual trailer ball hitch too.
