Reproduction Yamaha lights / turn signal / horn switch assembly for many of the DT dual sport models from 74-76. It’s common for the stock switches to wear and corrode from decades of use. Sometimes the horn button breaks or the turn signal switch no longer clicks into place. Lights, horn and turn signals are necessary safety features to have working!
If you are running aftermarket handlebars check to make sure the 28″ wire harness is long enough. This switch is designed to have the wires run outside the handlebars.
- Wire harness overall length = 28″ (loom 1 is 20″ long)
- Loom 1 = 6 Male bullet terminals, yellow, brown, light green, dark green, pink, light orange/white line, and 1 dual female bullet terminal (blue)
- Loom 2 = 6 pin connector, white, blue/white line, green/white line, green red/line, yellow white line, brown
Replaces Yamaha Part Numbers: 558-83972-60-00, 498-83972-62-00
Note: This switch is similar to the DT125/175/250/400 1977-1978 and XT250/500 models but the wiring is not the same.

Product appeared to be good quality but…No documentation included to show what all 12 wires are designated for, ie horn, on/off lights, hi/low beam, left or right turn signal. It’s kind of like giving a person a bicycle to cross town without a map! And no response from seller!!
