After lifting a Jeep TJ and installing 33″ tires with a 4.88 gear ratio, the speedometer was way off. After a little bit of research, I found a chart that listed the tire and axle gear size for the speedometer gear teeth. LA Speedometer had the best price and good reviews. The speedometer gear has been running great for a few months now and the speedometer is right on.

I have a 1998 jeep tj with the 5 speed ax15 transmission, 4.88 gears and 33 inch tires and the speedo is spot on.

Fixed the speedometer in my 2005 Jeep Wrangler after I put 4.88 gears in.

Used this for my 05 Jeep Wrangler NP231 with 5.13 gears and 35s. Great price, these are usually $40+

This little gear provides the perfect ratio needed to re-calibrate my speedometer. New gears installed and I was way off correct speed that I was going. This took all of 10 minutes to install with no special tools.

Worked great on my ’01 5spd in my TJ.
