I had my doubts at first after reading the reviews of others saying they didn’t like the way it looked. But now that I’ve got it installed, I love the way it compliments my bike. Definitely use a torque like the instructions say to use. I had mine on “hand tight” and after a week of riding I heard a little rattling.

Took eight days to come in from order date. Package was in good condition no damage that I noticed.Took about 20minutes to bolt on to my 2013 vulcan 900custom. Was a little tight getting the top brackets that go around frame by radiator to slide in the holes on engine guard but it fit. It’s about 1″ pipe size best I can guess for fitting highway pegs. Was expecting the bars to come out from the bike and foot pegs more but still overall satisfied with the purchase.

Fits perfect. Easy install. The only thing would have made it better was if it was flat black instead of shiny black. A little very fine Scotch Brite fixed that right up.

I understand it was used, but the description listed no cosmetic damage. Clearly, this item had chipped paint in several spots. I’m not disappointed enough to return it, but I am bummed that I have to repaint parts of it.

This engine guard was exactly what I expected it to be. I have not yet needed to tests its function as I have kept the rubber side down. However, it seems sturdy enough to hold if my bike were to tip. I don’t know how it would hold up in a crash at speed, but I hope to never find out. It looks good. The only shortcoming of this product is the bolts are not black. There is also metal spacers which are not black. It was easy enough to solve this problem with a little paint, but it would have been nice if the fasteners came black like the bar.

I just received this gard with no bolts and nuts no instructions how to install. The gard package is damaged and the gard has scratches on it.I don’t recommend anyone to buy it.

I really like the way it looks, feels sturdy. Only conThe hardware was not black, a little bit of paint and good to go

Definitely sturdy and worth the price. I do have to say that I am not mechanically savy or experience, this was my first time with doing anything like this, and it was fairly straightforward. The item is well built but it was a little too wide, around 1/2 inch wider than the frame, for my 2013 VN900 Custom. I had to put little force in to it, so thus one 4/5 stars. With the proper set of tools, it took me around 1 hrs more or less. Have tools ready. It will make the entire process so much easier.
