How to Use
Step 1
Remove the double sided tape on the back of the center cap.
Step 2
Install the center cap and press firmly. Optional center cap with logo available.
Step 3
Install the foam tape along the edge of the cover. this will provide protection to the rim from hard contact with the wheel cover.
Step 4
Installation: Remove existing cover, match the tire valve with cut out and push in the new cover.

These wheel covers arrived yesterday for my white 2023 Model Y Long Range Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Tesla. They were packed well with each wheel cover in its own bubble wrap envelope separated by cardboard dividers in a sturdy box. All of the packing material can be used to store your original Tesla wheel covers. These wheel covers mimic the original Tesla Gemini 19″ wheel covers, except that they are a little larger to cover the rim, and they are matte black. They are not right and left specific, but neither are the original Tesla wheel covers. Installation is easy, but does take some time to install the foam tape. Wiping down the area with some alcohol where the tape and hub covers will be installed, will help insure good adhesion. I chose the optional hub covers with matte black Tesla logos, which look great. I have not tried to remove the new wheel covers yet, but the online instructions indicate that the procedure is a little different from the original Tesla wheel covers. I am very satisfied with the the quality and appearance so far.

Downgraded to 1 star. I was originally happy with these wheel cover replacements for the original Model Y 19” covers. They look great, are easy to install, make NO noise, and cover my original wheel rim scratches. They also hold up fine going thru car wash. The problem comes when you have to remove – as you do for a tire rotation. They DO NOT remove easily like the original Gemini covers. If the service tech doesn’t know better, they will try to remove like the original Tesla covers, and they WILL break tabs. Your best bet is to remove the covers yourself before you go for service. You need to reach thru the gaps in the covers, and push the tabs together from the backside. You need strong hand strength to do this, and once all the tabs are released, the center hub also has tabs that can’t be released easily. The only thing I could do was cross my fingers, and yank – resulting in a very loud cracking noise, but they did come off. Great aesthetic, but not worth the hassle. I had to put the original Gemini covers back on.

I recently purchased the KAVANIC Wheel Cover Hubcap for my Tesla Model Y, and overall, they are nice wheel covers that add a stylish touch to my car’s appearance. However, there’s an important caveat to consider before making a purchase.Pros:Stylish matte black design with a logo symmetry that complements the Tesla Model Y.Easy installation process; they fit well on the model y 18inch wheels.Durable build quality and seem like they will last.The wheel covers do a great job of concealing scuffs and scratches on my original alloy wheels, which is a plus. However, I noticed that the grey color of my alloy is still somewhat visible through the wheel covers. If you are looking for a completely blacked-out appearance to match the original Tesla wheels, these covers might not achieve that.Cons:Grey color of the alloy is still somewhat visible through the wheel covers.Keep in mind that these wheel covers are not meant to replace the original Tesla wheels entirely. If you’re okay with a slight visibility of the grey alloy, these covers are an excellent option to spruce up the look of your Tesla Model Y without breaking the bank. However, if a seamless black alloy appearance is a priority for you, it might be best to go with the original Tesla wheels.In conclusion, the KAVANIC Wheel Cover Hubcaps are a good purchase for those looking to add a touch of style and protect their original alloy wheels. Just be aware that a complete black alloy appearance may not be achievable with these covers.

Impressed at how solid these are. Not flimsy at all. Easy to mount although instructions are a little bit sparse. The foam strip that goes inside the perimeter of these is a good idea, as without it, they might be a little noisy. The fit is a little tighter than the original wheel covers and for that reason you might want to use gloves when taking them off so that you don’t cut your fingers.These look really good on my midnight grey MYLR, and because of that, are a powerful incentive for me to avoid curb rash.
Thought –
I like the look but they def scratch the paint on your rims when installing. Not sure how to get around that but it’s where the clips touch the rim. Bigger issue is that one wheel cover fell off within a couple of months of install. There used to be a option to buy a single wheel cover but it seems to be gone and that’s why I originally bought this style.

I bought it hoping that the negative reviews were wrong about the quality. So far it fit really well and looks super nice. had to put on the felt, but it was really sticky, so i assumed i got a new batch. bought the red tesla center caps as well. Hopefully when i have to do the tire rotation at 4500 mile it won’t break. Im satisfied with the look and fit.

These wheel covers really elevate the look of your car and is very high quality for the price. The installation process was super easy, it took me less than 10 minutes to replace all 4! ‘ve had no issues whatsoever and like that it keeps my wheels protected from curb rash and other potential damages. The best part is the customer service, I had asked about the center caps with the Tesla logo and they offered to send me a set for free! When I had issues removing the wheel covers, I contacted customer service and they were able to provide me great detail on how to properly and safely remove them without damaging them. I could not recommend these wheel covers enough and appreciate the superb customer service!

lasted about a year, last month I noticed some some plastic pieces on my driveway, turns out some of the clips were breaking. a week later, one of the hubcap fell while I was driving, which could’ve been a dangerous situation. the matte color did look good and covered the rim.
