Required me to do some adjustments to make it fit properly but nothing major and it looks and works great. Obviously won’t be Perrin fit but for the price well worth it

This was installed on a 2005 WRX STi. This inlet hose is well built, but has some flaws. It does require trimming, and the metal ring for the s-pipe from the air box did not fit on my stock hardware. I had to modify it to get it to fit. Some of the fittings are poorly placed, like the line that goes in front of the intake manifold and behind the power steering hard line is too far back and hits the intake manifold. The top line by the turbo inlet is also too at back and hits the intake manifold. Trimming the rear of the pipe would only make the figment worse, so I’ll cross my fingers and hope it doesn’t rub through any time soon. This was an absolute pain to install. Took about 6 hours to do without pulling the intake manifold. If I ever do it again, I’ll pull the intake manifold. This was not fun.

I definitely had to do some trimming to make the hose fit with my cold air intake, nothing major. I wish I had done so before installation. It took some work to make some of the hoses connect, but eventually, everything fit okay. Since the hose is made of silicone, I was able to flex it into place which was helpful because I didn’t completely remove the intake, just loosened it and raised it. If you’re on a budget and have some patience, this part is a sufficient replacement.

Need creativity to make it fit. Those who complained about not fitting, suck at being mechanics lol. Installed it on an 04 WRX. Just have new evap hoses and clamps to ease off the install

The ended didn’t fit on the airbox without MacGyvering it and other ends need to be trimmed to fit. I feel like this shouldn’t be necessary. Manufacturer to fit the first time.
