This rooftop carrier comes with all the stuff you need, and works great! It was easy to set up/install on my car and just took a few minutes. I have a rack, but I tried the window option just to see how secure it felt fully loaded. I had used one years ago and wasn’t pleased with it, so I was curious. This baby works great either way! It strapped securely both through the window and to the rack, and the included nonslip mat helped keep it stable and secure, even with a sharper turn, and even on the freeway.The manufacturing details are strong and sturdy, it’s durable and will hold up. The quality is excellent, nice thick fabric that will keep everything clean and dry. The straps are easy to adjust and feel strong, even fully loaded it didn’t seem to shift or loosen. The zippers are heavy duty and easy to use.It holds a ton! I got the 22 cubic foot option, and I didn’t realize how much that would hold- camping this summer is going to be a treat, I’m a chronic over-packer and this will definitely help me be prepared for any situation that could arise.This is a quality product at a reasonable price. It holds a lot of weight securely, handles the weather fine, and is easy to set up and take down. It stores neatly and doesn’t take up a bunch of space. Highly recommend!

I wanted to maximize the storage space for his small SUV. He has a 2005 Honda CRV that he takes to go camping & fishing a lot with his buddies and when they take one car it is nice to be able to have the passengers inside the car and the gear on the top of the car (also in the cargo/. trunk area).With 21 cubit feet of space it’s incredible what you can fit in this thing! We put in the tent, four large sleeping bags, clothing and food and an old school Coleman camping stove and cooking essentials plus plates, mugs, pots, snow pants and snowboards, it’s insane, so cool, and everybody was able to have footpace and not feel too cramped on the drive up!I live near where there are seasonal wildfires and I love that I can easily transfer my pre-packed emergency essentials into his roof rack if I need to, and still have space for my pets and family in the main compartment of my vehicle. It gives me peace of mind. My sister lives near where they have tornado season and she is thinking of getting one of these too, for everyday convenience and to have on hand for emergencies.After my husband helped my son pack he considered getting another cargo carrier for his roof rack too because he travels a lot for work and this would hold all of his presentation stuff. He decided to go ahead and get one and so far he loves it! It is well made with heavy duty double zippers and impressive, thick, good quality material. The fabric of the outside of this carrier looks like some type of Oxford cloth with PVC coating to make it waterproof. I tested it out with the hose and it does keep everything inside nice and dry.I like that this works with your vehicle whether it has a roof rack, cross bars, side rails, a basket type roof rack or even if you don’t have any kind of rails or roof rack. My son’s car and my car both don’t have a roof rack or rails and it works fine on them, too. It comes with little metal hooks that you pop under the rubber door seals.I was worried it might be too heavy or tall and be unstable but it’s very stable and thanks to the little anti-slip mat they include with it, it doesn’t slide around (plus the mat protects the paint on the roof a little bit). It’s not very tall either, and it’s a decently aerodynamic shape for such a lot of storage.

This rooftop carrier was such a great purchase for our recent road trip. The quality is impressive — the material feels really sturdy and durable, and it held up so well throughout our whole journey. One of the best parts is how easy it was to install. Even though our car doesn’t have roof racks, it still worked out perfectly with the included door hooks and straps. Everything felt super secure once it was all set up.We ended up driving through a bit of rain, and I was worried about our stuff getting wet, but everything inside stayed completely dry. It really is waterproof, just like it claims. We were also surprised by how much we could fit inside, there’s a ton of space in this thing!This rooftop cargo carrier made our trip so much easier and more comfortable.
