Ordered these when no one in the area had blanks that would work. Had them cut by a local lock smith (who had cut a key from a “close kin” blank that did not work because it was a little too short). Ordered and had three keys cut and all three worked like a charm. Now I no longer have to worry about loosing the only key I had! Arrived quickly and in very good condition.

The best thing to say about the key blank is it is the correct blank for the Coleman 550. For your own protection, take this key blank to a professional locksmith to have it cut. Your local ace hardware refused to cut it because they could not replace the blank if they screwed up.

I bought my UTV from Tractor Supply Company. They were great for all other things, but completely useless at providing extra keys. I looked for blanks on the Internet and I found this. Brought it into my local hardware store, and they copied the key for me. They didn’t even charge me. Worked perfectly.As a sidenote, I told the guys at TSC about this, and they said they would make a note of it and tell other customers who were similarly stuck.

Took it to a local locksmith and had them cut the key. Worked great!

I took my blank to a lock smith to get cut.Don’t trust chain stores which will have to scan a different key to cut this blank.

Apparently, there are several versions on this model. Do I need to provide some numerical model serial number?

None of the locksmiths I went to stocked this key, but were willing to cut one if I could find one. This key fit the mold and worked great!
