Cdi box quit working after 3 days

The cables were too short, the connectors didnt stay in and caused the engine to shut off when i was a quarter mile from home. The connectors also broke off, i decided to cut everything off and rewire it. Havent has issues since

It was a non working part didn’t spark or start put it on meter didn’t have any voltage very disappointed ☹️
