Paul Robert Merriel –
Product looks good but there is no instructions on how to put together or even to know where to start. the bolts that come with the kit fit loose in pieces threaded holes (stripped instantly). Push rod for master cylinder are different thread so it does not thread into the master cylinder. Brake side pin that threads into mounting bracket went 2 threads then I had to put a strap wrench on it to get it the rest of the way on (pin threaded by hand on the back side of the piece). I would Definitely not recommend this product to anyone.

1. The instructions are dreadful.2. The kit looks great, but the brackets are made of aluminum. The bracket on the right side has a threaded hole that cannot be seen when the bracket is in place. The bolt that goes into that threaded hole is inserted from the left side of the bike and it secures both the right and left bracket. Here’s the problem:If you attempt to thread the bolt in while the right bracket isn’t perfectly in place, the threads on the bracket get damaged (aluminum) and you have to pull the bracket off, clean up the threads, and try again.I have spent two hours trying to place this one bolt.I take engines apart and put them back together on a regular basis, so I’m no amateur. I still haven’t figured this out yet.

One of the few times I went the cheaper route and it paid off. Ok in my search for a forward controls kit, I found a lot of different prices all the way to $600 and beyond. I was warned not to get a cheap Amazon kit. But I got this one used or damaged box or whatever. Came to the house NIB only thing was the box was supposed to have thread locker in it and it was missing, no biggie. Strangely enough the instructions had the name brand of the $600 kit you’d find on the upscale mc parts dealers. The parts looked identical and the fit and finish was amazing. Idk why or if it’s the same kit or just a superior knock off, but I’m very happy.

Great fit not bad to install. Really happy with the product

Works well and looks great, but took WAY TO LONG due to no instructions. Things have to be put on in sequence or you will end up taking items back off. Not my first time upgrading one of my bikes, but really lazy that no one provides instructions.
