Why do we need to remove iron from water?
- Unpleasant odor and taste: Iron in water can impart a metallic taste and odor.
- Discoloration: High concentrations of iron can cause water to appear yellow, brown, or orange, affecting its appearance and making it unsuitable for many applications such as cooking or drinking.
- Water quality: Iron can reduce water quality, sometimes leading to turbidity or cloudiness.
- Health concerns: Drinking water with high levels of iron over the long term may pose health risks.

I bought this inline filter to refill my hot tub. Our water has some discoloration in it from iron no organics that isn’t caught by the hot tub filter. This inline filter was exceptionally easy to use-just screw it on the garden hose-and eliminated the discoloration.

I think this filter will work great for my camper, looks very well made. It will replace the little tiny one that came on my camper. I ordered 2 so I’ll have a spare if needed. Easy to change, I’m now a very happy camper !!!!

When I saw the H&G Lifestyles inline RV Water Filter, offered I wanted to give it a try.Our campground in Mississippi has decent soft water.Since our drinking water is dispensed and filtered by our refrigerator we have no issue with water taste but we do have an issue with water spotting our water faucets and shower doorsI received my filter back in October, hooked it up and was disappointed when the filter casing began to leak.I contacted H&G Lifestyles, advised them of my situation and they were quick to respond with a resolution and sent me a replacement, that’s great customer service !!I installed the new filter last week and am happy to report that the filter works as advertised the spotting has greatly improved !!I must admit I am happy with the performance of the filter but am disappointed that it came packaged in a plain brown box and had no product information or instructions.

Added this to my camper hook up and it works well, the filter is easy to screw on and off of the spigot and hose. It is light and smaller in size, so it is easy to store in my camper. There is a notable difference between water filtered through here vs not as I had both samples in a clear glass and after it settled could see the difference. The water still has a powerful flow through the filter so there aren’t any water pressure issues.

Defective out of box. Leaked along seal where it was put together – not where hose goes in or out. I bought this before my trip and when came time to use it was outside the return window. Buyer beware.
