2007-09 GM truck owners, drive in the winter or live by the ocean? You will need one of these eventually. Wasn’t the problem on my 09 Sierra. Turned out it was the special battery to starter cable. Ended up getting a used one for now. My fuse panel was corroded and could have caused problems any day.

Ok, so to keep it simple, it came with just the top part and the grey handles that lock it into place (Be careful with these as they break easy, if one does break on you, your local junkyard may help)and all the fuses. After making sure all my blocks that lay underneath the main block were in place, and playing with the grey handles a bit it snapped perfectly in. One piece of advice is to take off the corner L shaped metal bracket that’s on the corner of both sides of the hood. Also make sure your battery is not connected.

Replaced item and it was shorted out is what the dealer told me so I replaced it again with one from the dealer and everything is working perfectly now.
Tiffany Tischer –
It didn’t solve our problem but at at least it fits and we will be able to replace fuses without them breaking off in the block like our old one.
