I installed this on a 2014 ISX to reduce crankcase pressures. The standard wick-type doesn’t breath very well. I am keeping track of oil-consumption and hope to reduce it.This filter has a very light-sprung one-way valve to allow pressure to vent. Period. This replaces the standard CCV filter and NEVER has to be changed.Buy it.
